Shoebury Litter Pickers- High Street and East Beach
Shoeburyness, like other areas of Southend that are directly on the coast, struggles with litter and pollution washing in from the sea or being left behind on our streets and beaches before making its way into our waters.
To help combat this, Shoebury Litter Pickers is a friendly community group organised by local residents who want to keep Shoebury’s streets and beaches clean, safe, and enjoyable for everyone.
By spending a small amount of time collecting litter, their efforts make a real difference to the area and help protect the local wildlife.
Get Involved
Join the group on their next litter pick- everyone welcome
When: Every 2nd Saturday of the month
Time: Meet at 10am. Most litter picks last around 1 hour, but you’re welcome to join for as long as you’d like.
Where: Outside the Shoeburyness Hotel
