Garon Park’s Community Garden is a welcoming space where volunteers grow produce, learn sustainable horticulture, and help maintain one of the park’s most loved wellbeing areas. You’ll support everything from planting and harvesting to caring for raised beds enjoyed daily by visitors exploring the Wellbeing Trail, making a real contribution to food growing and community resilience.

What does the role involve?

  • Plant, water, and maintain crops and flowers used in our wellbeing gardens
  • Support the upkeep of raised beds, sensory gardens, and community growing areas
  • Help harvest produce and learn sustainable growing methods used in our community agriculture project
  • Assist visiting groups who enjoy the garden spaces along the Wellbeing Trail
  • Work alongside staff and volunteers to create a welcoming, colourful garden enjoyed by thousands of visitors
